Paul Goldsmith was a rare two-sport star: an AMA motorcycle Hall of Famer who won the Daytona 200, then switched to stock cars and won nine Grand National races, including four in a row. His versatility was unmatched in his era.
Goldsmith lived to 98, dying in 2024 as one of the oldest living NASCAR race winners – a living bridge from the sport's earliest days to the modern era.
