Bob Flock, the eldest of the three racing Flock brothers, won four Grand National races and finished second in the 1949 points standings – NASCAR's first Strictly Stock season. He was already a veteran when the sport was born.
Flock died in 1964 at just 47. With brothers Tim and Fonty, he helped establish the Flock name as NASCAR's first great racing family.
