Ron Bouchard (1948–2015) was the 1981 NASCAR Rookie of the Year. His only Cup victory — the 1981 Talladega 500, won in a three-wide photo finish — remains one of the sport's most famous upsets. One win was enough: that single Talladega afternoon made Bouchard's name permanent in NASCAR lore. He rests at Saint Joseph Cemetery in Fitchburg, Massachusetts.
